First batch of field photography with the new diffuser! :#1:

Probably my favorite picture from this first test. A lacewing larvae (Chrysopa sp.) on the hunt. These larvae are fierce predators!

I built a custom diffuser for my external flash. It has a 20x20cm diffuser panel made of thick opaque tracing paper, and I designed it so there's good coverage for the 100mm macro both with and without extension tubes.

=) A diffuser is something that scatters the light from the flash. In this case, it's a piece of tracing paper. I'm glad you like my gallery!
