Description
This is a tight crop of a Peripatus sp., also known as a velvet worm. They are quite rare at the botanical garden I frequent, and finding one was a big treat.
The eye is that small black spot right at the base of the antennae. All those tiny "bumps" give the velvet worm its name, since they give it a velvety texture.
